Matt Collins
It was De Vere Hotels where Collins cut his teeth, first at the Grand Hotel Brighton as trainee manager, before going on to the Bell House Hotel as assistant manager for a further two years. Gaining invaluable experience, his time with the group would equip him with the overall operational experience needed and in 2000 a relationship with Moat House commenced, which would see him work in four hotels - initially at the Peterborough Moat House as conference & events manager, culminating with the Hertfordshire Moat House as operations manager.
In 2005 Collins joined the boutique hotel, Bell Hotel in Sandwich, where he worked for seven years transforming the business. Married with two boys, Matt's hobbies include eating out, motor racing in his lotus and scuba diving.
Matt is thrilled to have the chance to manage the Cary Arms and is looking forward to welcoming all our guests....
