Living Coasts
Torquay's coastal zoo is a wildlife oasis in the middle of the bustling waterfront area. Beneath the vast net canopy you will find one hundred penguins plus fur seals, puffins, wading birds, sea ducks – and lots, lots more. Fascinating underwater viewing and a café, shop and terrace with glorious Bay views. Living Coasts is an all-weather attraction.

Model Village
The Model Village at Babbacombe is an enchanting recreation of towns, villages and gardens, as well as famous British landmarks including Stone Henge. New for this summer is the 4D Cinema, which is sure to thrill all the family, while over the Christmas period, Winter Wonderland sees the whole attraction blanketed in snow.

Babbacombe Cliff Railway
Located on Babbacombe Downs this cliff railway will take you to the beach of Oddicombe. It is one of only sixteen funicular railways still functioning in the United Kingdom and is an easy way to travel between Oddicombe and Babbacombe (particularly suitable for those who are unable to manage the walk down the steep beach road or the pathways). Oddicombe is the only beach within Torbay to have its own cliff railway.

Horseriding
There are horse riding centres in some of England's most scenic regions, and they provide rides ranging from multi-day trail rides to one hour beginners' rides. Beach rides and mountain treks provide a thrilling experience for the more experienced riders, and rides through gently undulating countryside on quiet ponies are enjoyable for novice riders. Horse riding in Devon is an incredible experience that will remain in your memory long after you've hopped off the saddle.
