Our Suppliers

The best West Country ingredients

Our suppliers have all been chosen for their excellence, proximity and the passion for what they do. We strongly believe a real pub should have real beer. Lovingly made up in the Blackdown Hills, Otter Ale is synonymous with Devon. The brewery’s strong eco credentials not only make it a good ethical choice but also ensures a very unique taste. Bays Topsail travels even less of a distance – five miles to be exact – and is an easy drinking, light golden ale with refreshing and tantalising lemony citrus overtones.

No stranger to awards, Luscombe are another local company who have forged an enviable reputation. Hand-made in small batches with real ingredients, this wholly organic range of soft, naturally produced drinks are full of earthy flavours and nice textures. We currently stock their Sicilian Lemonade and fiery Ginger Beer. The perfect reward after a bracing walk.

Plymouth Gin is famous the world over. Based on a closely guarded recipe that dates back to 1793, soft Dartmoor water is blended with pure grain alcohol and seven botanicals to produce a great depth of flavour. We proudly stock their English Gin and apply this same level of careful sourcing to all our meat, fish and fresh produce.
