Dear Guest,

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to The Cary Arms and Spa after our lockdown period.

Please rest assured that we will be operating safely and taking the necessary precautions and safety measures in accordance to the guidelines set out by the Government and will be adapting with the fortnightly updates.

Those of you who have been to us before would be aware of the issues that we have had with the council road in front of the hotel with regards to the sub scission. We have just been notified by the council that after their recent survey, immediate works are needing to be implemented to reinforce and support the foundations. These works will be starting from Monday 7th of December and will be going right the way though till the 30th April. Road access will be heavily restricted during these works Mon-Fri between 8am and 5pm.

Due to these restrictions we will be adapting our normal check in procedure from arriving on the forecourt (as we won’t have access through the road for vehicles through check in time) to arriving at the top of Beach Road outside Rose cottage. We will then direct you to the car park and have a shuttle service available via a golf buggy if required to bring you and your luggage down to reception where we will be checking in as normal. We will be liaising with the project manager on a daily basis to get their schedule of works and to keep any inconvenience caused down to a minimum.

I do apologise profusely for the rather abrupt update, if anyone does have any more queries please feel free to contact myself on site where I will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Other than that, myself and the team are looking forward to welcoming you to what I am sure is a much needed staycation and to do what we do best.

We wish you a safe journey and we will see you soon.

Kind regards,

Rob Allen
